Our Process

Discovery Call

Every service we offer starts with a phone call. This call will allow us to get to know each other and will cover key aspects of your proposed project, including your general budget, goals, and timeline. This call can be over the phone or over live video. If you know you need advice but aren’t sure you need the full services of a designer, we offer a one-hour Coaching Call to answer your questions.

Site Visit

After the agreement has been signed, we will visit the location of your project and spend several hours discussing the next steps and any potential hurdles that will need to be addressed. We will take photos, measurements and discuss your vision and wish lists. If you aren’t quite ready to sign an agreement, you can start with an in-home/office Consultation to help you get the project started on the right track.

Budget Planning

We believe the more planning that is done in the beginning gives you a much better understanding of the work ahead. We will create a spreadsheet that details how your investment will be spent after a thorough project wish-list review. If you have a budget, a list of priorities may need to be assigned. We will walk you through this allocation process to ensure you are feeling confident.

Design Development

We will create a design plan, taking into account all budget planning, preferences and spatial requirements. We will present this plan to you in person or via screen sharing over live video and will include architectural drawings, 3D models, mood boards and pricing. You will have a chance to review it and make adjustments to it as needed before we move into the implementation phase.

Design Implementation

We will create a timeline, assemble the appropriate tradespeople and begin scheduling them to work on your project. We will serve as your main point of contact and act as a liaison between you and the contractors. We will place orders for the cabinetry, finish materials, lighting and furniture and handle back orders or change orders as they occur. The “styling” process will begin as this phase ends.

Installation & Reveal Day

Once the renovation portion of the project is complete, we will try to coordinate the delivery of all furniture on one day - the Installation Day. Along with all of the “styling” items, we will be onsite to move everything into place as planned. This will take several hours. We will tour the final project with you and address anything as needed, then prep the site for our professional photography shoot.
